How to use Fork Cutting Scissors at home?
If your hair needs a cut, it might be time to bring the hair salon home. If this is your first time cutting your hair, it's best to start slowly and gradually shorten it. Use sharp scissors and a wide-toothed comb to achieve an even cut. Here are some tips for cutting hair at home:
1. TO CUT YOUR HAIR (AND GET RID OF SPLIT ENDS)
After washing and conditioning the hair, let it dry completely before starting to cut it. Cut with the ends of the hair scissors, rather than along the entire length of the blade. Use clips to separate hair into manageable sections. Make sure to check that the length is the same on each side. When trimming split ends, be sure to keep the chin high. If you look down, you risk taking off too much length.
2. TO CUT THE LAYERS THAT FRAM THE FACE
Start with a normal part, then separate the hair vertically, bringing it to the front. Paint this section inch by inch, directing it forward at a 40-degree angle. The bottom of your first thumb should not extend beyond the corner of your eye. Point cut one small section at a time, following the shape created by your stylist (if possible).
3. TO CUT CURLY AND WAVY HAIR
Start by letting the hair air dry, then shape it into the desired shape. Only trim pieces of hair that don't seem to be out of place. It's best to cut half of what you originally planned to cut, because if you cut an inch it will look like you cut two inches. The shorter your hair, the lighter and more flexible the curls will be.
